Honeywell hfd 120 Q is a tower air cleaner that will remove large quantities of dust and pollen particles in rooms up to 170 sq ft. (13′ x 13′). Testing results shows that this air purifier removed 70% of airborne particles. One of the things that consumers that have bought this product says is that it is very positive that the IFD filters can be washed or vacuumed which will provide savings in filter replacements. This model also has a filter indicator to let you know when it is time to clean it. |

"Confusion in HEPA home filters is starting to rise--I was at a local home improvement shop and they had a whole selection of machines--From True HEPA to "Hepa Type" and this one is supposedly better then "Hepa Type" but not as good as True Hepa. So for those who are allergic to everything, you may be better off with what Honeywell calls a "True Hepa."
